Tested by Ubervape: Our Four-Week Verdict

Voopoo sent Ubervape an advance Argus Z3 before its official launch so that we could test the device and provide feedback. We used it for more than four weeks with both the included Multi-Ohm Cartridge and a separate 0.7Ω Argus pod.

In our testing, the Z3 produced a surprisingly powerful draw with clear flavour and a satisfying amount of vapour without becoming excessive. Filling proved exceptionally straightforward, and we experienced no leaking during the test period. No refillable pod can be guaranteed never to leak, but our sample remained clean throughout normal daily use.

The shaped body feels comfortable and secure in the hand, with the textured finish providing useful grip even when our hands were damp. At only 41.6g, it is noticeably light in a pocket despite having a reassuringly substantial shape.

Battery life was another strong point. Our device reliably lasted two days between charges and occasionally reached a third day. Actual battery life will depend on the selected resistance, airflow, draw length and frequency of use, but the 1100mAh capacity is generous for a compact refillable pod kit.

Two Resistances from One Multi-Ohm Pod

The included 2ml Argus Multi-Ohm Cartridge removes the need to carry two different pods. Simply remove the cartridge, rotate it through 180 degrees and reinstall it to change resistance and vaping style.

The 0.7Ω setting is suited to a loose mouth-to-lung or restricted direct-to-lung inhale. The 1.0Ω setting provides a more traditional mouth-to-lung draw and is the better choice when maximising battery life and e-liquid efficiency. The side airflow control lets you fine-tune either mode.

The cartridge incorporates Voopoo’s iCOSM CODE 2.0 pod design, developed to improve liquid sealing, coil consistency and cotton durability.

Compatible Argus Z3 Replacement Pods

Voopoo lists the Z3 as compatible with the complete Argus Pod family. This gives you the freedom to continue using the reversible Multi-Ohm design or fit a conventional pod with a fixed resistance.

Which E-Liquid Is Best for the Argus Z3?

We recommend a balanced 50VG/50PG e-liquid for reliable wicking and consistent flavour. Nic salts work particularly well with the 0.7Ω and 1.0Ω modes, which is why this kit includes two free Pyne Pod Nic Salt e-liquids.

Each included bottle contains 10ml of 50VG/50PG e-liquid and is available in 10mg or 20mg nicotine strengths, subject to the options and flavours shown when ordering. Choose a nicotine strength appropriate for your existing usage; 20mg is a high nicotine strength and is intended for lower-power mouth-to-lung pod systems.

1100mAh Battery and USB-C Charging

The built-in 1100mAh battery offers excellent capacity for a 41.6g device. Four indicator bars divide the remaining charge into clear 25% stages, making it easier to judge when charging will be needed.

How to Fill and Use the Argus Z3

1. Remove the pod and open its top-filling seal.
2. Add e-liquid through the filling port, avoiding the central airflow channel, and firmly close the seal.
3. When using a new pod, allow at least five minutes for the coil to become fully saturated.
4. Install the cartridge in the 0.7Ω or 1.0Ω orientation and adjust the side airflow control.
5. Inhale through the mouthpiece to vape; no button press is required.

To maintain reliable performance, keep the pod contacts clean, close the filling seal completely and avoid leaving the device in excessive heat. Replace the pod when flavour becomes muted, vapour production falls or a persistent burnt taste develops.

Built-In Safety Protections

The Argus Z3 includes protection against poor pod connection, short circuits, low battery, overcharging, excessive temperature, output over-current and maximum-power conditions. A five-second vaping timeout also prevents excessively long activation.
