OXVA VPRIME Dual Mesh Pods – 6ml Replacement Pods (Pack of 2)

The OXVA VPRIME Dual Mesh Pods are the latest refillable replacement cartridges for the OXVA VPRIME 2 Pod Kit. Built around OXVA's UniTech 3.0 technology, each pod combines two mesh heating elements with a redesigned airflow system to deliver stronger flavour, smoother vapour and greater flexibility than the original single-mesh VPRIME pods.

Each pack contains two 6ml pods in your selected resistance. Choose the 0.4Ω pod for the most powerful RDL or DTL experience, or the 0.6Ω pod for a slightly more restricted vape at a lower power level.

RDL means restricted direct-to-lung, while DTL means direct-to-lung. If you prefer a traditional lower-powered mouth-to-lung vape, consider the original VPRIME 0.8&ohm pods instead.

Why Are the Dual Mesh Pods Better Than the Original VPRIME Pods?

Two Mesh Elements Instead of One

The original VPRIME cartridges use a single-mesh heating element. These new cartridges use OXVA's Dual Mesh system, enabling the VPRIME 2 to offer two distinct output profiles from the same pod.

Eco Mode operates the pod at its stated resistance and a lower power level. Boost Mode activates the higher-powered dual-mesh configuration, reducing the effective resistance and producing a warmer, denser vape. This gives you considerably more control without changing pods.

Richer and More Consistent Flavour

Mesh coils provide a broad and even heating surface. The Dual Mesh configuration increases the active heating area when Boost Mode is selected, helping the pod vaporise e-liquid more evenly and deliver fuller flavour across each draw.

OXVA's launch material describes the UniTech 3.0 platform as providing a 200% flavour boost compared with its original single-mesh benchmark. Flavour intensity will still vary according to the e-liquid, wattage, airflow and condition of the pod.

Longer Working Life

Distributing heat across the mesh system helps reduce concentrated hot spots that can prematurely affect the wick. OXVA describes the new design as providing 200% longer lifespan performance against its original comparison baseline.

Actual pod life depends on your chosen power, e-liquid sweetness, VG ratio and frequency of use. Using excessively high wattage or allowing the pod to run dry will shorten its usable life.

Improved Leak Resistance

UniTech 3.0 combines improved liquid management with a U-shaped airflow path and enlarged chamber. The design is intended to keep airflow and condensation under better control while producing a smoother draw.

OXVA claims 120% better leak protection for the new UniTech 3.0 design. As with any refillable pod, securely closing the filling port and avoiding overfilling will help minimise leakage.

More Capacity Between Refills

Each cartridge holds up to 6ml of e-liquid. That is 1ml more than the 5ml version of the original VPRIME pod, providing 20% additional capacity and reducing the number of refills required during higher-powered use.

Eco and Boost Modes on the VPRIME 2

The most important functional upgrade is full support for the VPRIME 2's Eco and Boost modes. Original single-mesh VPRIME cartridges remain compatible with the VPRIME 2, but they operate through Eco Mode only. The new Dual Mesh pods allow the device to use both modes as intended.

Device Compatibility

Recommended E-Liquids

The best e-liquid depends on the selected resistance, power setting and preferred draw:

Always choose a nicotine strength appropriate for RDL or DTL vaping. Higher-output settings produce more vapour per puff, so lower nicotine strengths are generally preferable.

How to Prepare a New Pod

  1. Open the filling port and add your chosen e-liquid, taking care not to overfill the pod.
  2. Close the filling seal completely and wipe away any excess liquid.
  3. Leave a newly filled pod standing for at least five to ten minutes so the wick can absorb the e-liquid.
  4. Fit the pod securely into the device.
  5. Begin near the lower end of the appropriate wattage range and increase the power gradually.

When Should the Pod Be Replaced?

Replace the complete cartridge when you notice a persistent burnt or unusual taste, reduced flavour, declining vapour production or leakage that continues after checking the filling seal. Because the coil is built into the cartridge, there is no separate coil head to remove or install.

Are these pods compatible with the original OXVA VPRIME?

Yes. OXVA's cross-compatibility guide confirms that the Dual Mesh cartridges can be used with both the original VPRIME and the VPRIME 2. On the original device, they operate using the Boost profile and the wattage remains adjustable.

Do both Eco and Boost modes work with these pods?

Both modes are available when the pods are installed in the OXVA VPRIME 2. Eco Mode uses the pod's stated resistance at a lower output, while Boost Mode activates the higher-powered dual-mesh profile.

Is the 0.4Ω or 0.6Ω pod more powerful?

The 0.4Ω version is the more powerful option, reaching approximately 40–60W in Boost Mode. The 0.6Ω version operates at approximately 35–50W in Boost Mode and provides a slightly more restricted vape.

Can I continue using the original VPRIME pods?

Yes. The original OXVA VPRIME replacement pods remain compatible with both generations of the device and offer additional 0.2Ω, 0.4Ω, 0.6Ω and 0.8Ω options. When used with the VPRIME 2, the original single-mesh pods operate in Eco Mode only.

Are the coils replaceable?

No. The heating element and wick are integrated into the cartridge. When the coil reaches the end of its usable life, replace the complete pod.
